On Sourcing

Try as I might to broaden the topics of discussion on this site, the truth is a majority of the stuff written here is tech-related. (‘Tech-related’ really being more a euphemism for ‘Apple-related’.) There are several A-list indie writers within the Apple community whose sites are required daily reading for me. I have a tremendous amount of respect for these guys and the work they put out.

While this site serves more as a “hobby” and a creative outlet for me, the design and management of the site is certainly inspired by the aforementioned writers. Writers such as:

I think it’s important, too, to note that when linking to something I’ve found, say, at DF, I always credit the author and provide the link to whatever it is in the first line of the post. In addition, I always make a point to give proper attribution to my original source by inserting a “via” link in parenthesis at the bottom of the post. This way, I’m being as transparent as possible when it comes to how I get my information. I don’t want to be known as one of those people.
