On Doing What You Were Meant to Do

In an interview with IndustryConf.com, Noah Stokes offers a terrific piece of life advice:

If you love it, and you’re good at it, it’s what you were meant to be doing.

If you don’t like what you’re doing, change it. You can go out and make something happen for yourself. It doesn’t even take much talent, I mean, look at the Kardashian’s. If you work hard, you’ll be just fine.

At this risk of sounding like an arrogant prick, the response stemming from my article is validation to me that I’m truly good at this writing thing. Writing is my passion, and I love it very much. I hope to someday turn this “hobby” into something more substantial, but the kind words and attention I’ve received because of The Magazine is a damn fine step in the right direction.
